Download MacPurifier

For macOS 13 and later, on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. No account to create, and cleaning is free with no time limit.

Direct download

A disk image (.dmg) to open, then drag into Applications.

With Homebrew

Paste this command in Terminal:

brew install --cask beatsfaty/macpurifier/macpurifier

Install

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file.
  2. Drag MacPurifier onto the Applications folder.
  3. Open MacPurifier from Applications.
  4. On first launch, the app explains why it needs Full Disk Access and offers to open the right setting. You can skip this step and grant it later; some features stay limited until you do.

Update

In the app settings, the update check tells you whether a new version exists and offers to open this page. It never downloads or installs anything on its own.

With Homebrew, which may get the new version a little later than the website:

brew update && brew upgrade --cask macpurifier

The command line

The macpurifier command installs separately from the app, with Homebrew:

brew install beatsfaty/macpurifier/macpurifier-cli
